Founding GTM Generalist –
Operations, Community & Strategy
Location: Berlin (Hybrid, 3+ days onsite)
Role Type: Founding Team / First Hire
About addressable value
addressable value is a dynamic, founder-led company on a mission to strengthen the European startup ecosystem. We believe the key to market success lies in a unified focus on customer value, and we have built a reputation delivering high-impact consulting to help startups align their go-to-market strategies and break down internal silos.
Now, led by our software-engineering backgrounds, we are transitioning our deep domain expertise into a powerful, AI-enabled SaaS product. Our goal is to maximize the impact of our proven customer-value frameworks through scalable software.
We are building our core team in Berlin and strongly believe in the power of a local, collaborative culture. This role requires working from our Berlin office at least three days a week and is foundational to bridging our proven consulting expertise with our emerging product.
Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled, high-bandwidth GTM Generalist to be the very first hire and right hand to the founders. This is not a traditional siloed role; it is an opportunity to build the entire Go-to-Market engine of a high-potential startup from the ground up.
You will wear three hats: The Operator (building processes, reporting, and systems), The Voice (building community and producing content), and The Consultant (delivering value workshops). If you are a high-autonomy builder who loves connecting dots between data, people and strategy, this role is for you.
What you will be doing
GTM Operations, Systems & Reporting (The Engine)
Process Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end processes for Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. You will turn chaos into structure.
Systems Integration: Own the GTM tech stack. Select, integrate, and manage the tools (CRM, Marketing Automation, Data tools) required to run a modern SaaS business.
Data & Reporting: Build the reporting infrastructure. You will define the dashboards that track our health across the funnel, monitoring key metrics (CAC, LTV, Pipeline Velocity, Usage) to drive data-backed decisions.
Sales & CS Enablement: Create the playbooks and assets that allow us to sell and support our customers efficiently.
Community, Content & Brand (The Voice)
Community Building: Build and manage a vibrant community around the topic of "Customer Value Management." You will nurture relationships with thought leaders and practitioners.
Podcast & Content Production: Act as a producer and on-air talent. You will support, host, and help produce podcasts that elevate our brand and share our expertise.
Platform Management: Own the community platform, ensuring engagement remains high and members find value in the network we are building.
Marketing Support: Support broader marketing efforts, translating our consulting insights into compelling content, case studies, and campaigns.
Customer Value Consulting & Delivery (The Core)
Workshop Foundation: Establish the workshop delivery process, ensuring our signature "Customer Value Workshops" are delivered with excellence to C-suite stakeholders.
Feedback Loop: Act as the bridge between the customer and the product. You will translate insights gained from consulting and community interactions into structured inputs for our Product and AI development teams.
Methodology: Refine our proprietary frameworks to ensure they are scalable and eventually productized into software.
Team Building & Leadership (The Future)
Hiring & Scaling: As the first hire, you will play a critical role in defining the culture. You will help recruit, hire, and onboard the future Sales, Marketing, and CS teams.
Mentorship: Build the scaffolding that allows future hires to succeed, transitioning from "doing it all" to "leading the team" as we grow.
What you bring
Experience: 5+ years of experience in SaaS, with a mix of Operations (RevOps/Sales Ops) and customer-facing roles (Consulting, Sales, or CS).
System Builder: Proven experience implementing and managing GTM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Make/Zapier). You are not afraid to get your hands dirty with APIs and workflows.
Content & Communication: You are comfortable in front of a microphone and a camera. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can hold your own in conversations with industry experts.
Process Mindset: You think in flowcharts and systems. You hate inefficiency and love automating manual tasks.
Startup Resilience: You understand that being the first hire means dealing with ambiguity. You are proactive, scrapey, and take complete ownership of outcomes.
Data Literacy: You can build a report, analyze a funnel, and explain the "Why" behind the numbers to the founders.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience launching or managing a B2B community.
Audio/Video editing skills (for podcast production).
Background in management consulting or detailed business analysis.
Leadership experience
Behavioral and Cultural Skills
High Agency: You don't wait to be told what to do; you see a problem and you fix it.
Curiosity: You are genuinely interested in how businesses create value and are eager to learn about the "Customer Value" methodology.
Versatility: You can switch context instantly—from fixing a Zapier bug to interviewing a VP of Sales for a podcast.
